After a few days of coronation themed learning, art, craft and activities, we arrived at today where the children celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III with even more activities including flag and crown making, biscuit baking and decoration and more... even the sand trays and games and toys on the playroom tables turned red, white and blue!
Due to the weather today, we were unable to enjoy our activities and party lunch outside.
However, the children enjoyed a celebration breakfast with crown shaped toast, crown crumpets, strawberries and blueberries and a party lunch, including sandwiches, quiche (a favourite of the King) cucumber, tomato, peppers, crisps and the odd treat!
