Yesterday it was 'World Book Day'. At Little Chums, we don't usually 'celebrate' this because we believe that books should be celebrated EVERY day - we read to and share books with our children every session. Also, we don't want parents to feel they have to spend money buying or making costumes. However, some parents enquire every year and we make dressing-up completely voluntary.
The children in Toddlers did have great fun reading the The Gruffalo as well as creating some brilliant art work!
In Preschool they drew their favourite character, posed with their favourite books and enjoyed extra time in the reading corner!
